What is Passive Income?

 1. Passive income refers to earnings derived from activities in which an individual is not actively involved on a regular basis.

2. It is often generated through investments, rental properties, or businesses where the individual has limited direct involvement.

3. The term "passive" does not necessarily mean zero effort, but rather that the income stream requires less active participation compared to traditional employment.

4. One common source of passive income is dividends from stocks or mutual funds, where investors receive a portion of a company's profits on a regular basis.

5. Rental income from real estate properties is another form of passive income, where property owners earn money from tenants occupying their properties.

6. Royalties from intellectual property, such as books, music, or patents, can provide passive income to creators or inventors.

7. Interest earned from savings accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), or bonds can also be considered passive income.

8. Affiliate marketing allows individuals to earn passive income by promoting products or services and earning a commission on sales generated through their referral links.

9. Peer-to-peer lending platforms enable investors to earn passive income by lending money to borrowers and collecting interest payments.

10. Creating and monetizing online courses, eBooks, or digital products can generate passive income for content creators.

11. Automated business systems, such as vending machines, online stores, or automated trading algorithms, can generate passive income with minimal ongoing effort.

12. Real estate crowdfunding platforms allow investors to pool their funds to invest in larger real estate projects and earn passive income from rental income or property appreciation.

13. Participating in dividend reinvestment plans (DRIPs) allows investors to automatically reinvest dividends to purchase additional shares, compounding their passive income over time.

14. Building a successful blog, YouTube channel, or podcast with monetization strategies like advertising, sponsorships, or memberships can create passive income streams from content creation.

15. Building and selling digital assets, such as websites, mobile apps, or online businesses, can provide a lump sum of passive income when the asset is sold.
